Nestled in the heart of downtown, Civic Park once the site of Granite City's post office, now acts as a community hub for arts, community markets and more.

Although the post office building was demolished, you can still find the eagle statue that once adorned the building.

A New Purpose

Throughout the year you can enjoy live music at the city's Civic Park Concert Series, or shop at The Melting Pot Market, a European style open air market that showcases crafters and artisans from throughout the region. Civic Park has also become an outdoor art installation exhibiting sculptural pieces from professional artists from a national call.
